Who provides this service

What Insightful Parenting is

Insightful Parenting is educational information and support for parents and carers. It is not medical treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or emergency or crisis care, and it does not replace professional medical or mental-health advice where that is needed. It is not a diagnostic service and nothing in it assesses or scores a young person.

Urgent support information remains available separately and free of charge in Resources & support. Please use it, or contact emergency services, where that is appropriate.

Ways to buy

• Monthly Membership is £3.99 in total per month.
• One-off Programme Access is £20.00 in total, as a single payment.
• Where your school takes part, One-off Programme Access is £15.00 in total, as a single payment, using the code your school gives you.
• There is no free trial.
• A membership gives you the programme as it stands today, plus anything added while your membership is running. It renews automatically until you cancel.
• A one-off payment gives you permanent access to the edition of the programme you bought. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
• You can cancel a membership at any time through Manage billing in your account.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• When paid access ends, the free areas of Insightful Parenting remain open to you as usual.

Cancellation, refunds and your statutory rights

Cancelling your subscription stops future renewal. It does not affect any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have under UK consumer law.

Insightful Parenting is digital content that is supplied to you immediately. Before you are taken to payment, we ask you to tick a box confirming that you expressly agree to immediate access, and that you understand you will lose the 14-day right to cancel in relation to that digital content once supply begins. The box is never pre-ticked, you cannot continue to payment without ticking it, and we keep a dated record of the exact wording you agreed to.

This affects only the 14-day cancellation right for digital content. All your other statutory rights remain, including your rights if the digital content is faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, and your right to cancel future renewals at any time.

If something doesn't work as it should

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights relating to digital content or services that do not conform to the standards required by applicable consumer law. Cancelling is not your only remedy. If something isn't working, please tell us.

Accounts

• Accounts are for adult parents, guardians and carers.
• Please keep your sign-in details secure and do not share your account.
• Please give accurate account information so we can support you.
• Please do not use the app to store identifiable information about a child. It is not designed for that.

School codes

A school may be given two kinds of code. A parent offer code lets parents at that school buy One-off Programme Access at the school price; it does not create a subscription. A preview code is single use and gives the school free access to look through the programme. Codes are issued by Tina Copp / Insightful Parenting, may be withdrawn, and are not transferable or exchangeable for money.

Programme content

The Insightful Parenting programme content and Tina's original narration are provided for your own personal use within the service. Please do not redistribute, republish or resell them. Material from other organisations remains theirs, and is credited in Sources & Acknowledgements.

Audio recordings and voice use

All original audio recordings within Insightful Parenting are proprietary programme content. They may not be copied, downloaded, reproduced, redistributed, republished, extracted or used outside the programme without prior written permission.

No audio recording, voice sample or extract from Insightful Parenting may be used to train, fine-tune, develop or evaluate an artificial intelligence or machine-learning system, or to create, synthesise, clone, imitate or generate a digital replica of Tina Copp's voice, without Tina Copp's prior written permission.

This covers the programme's original wording, recordings and original artwork. Research, guidance and resources from other organisations remain theirs and are credited in Sources & Acknowledgements.
